Servant of the Lake Secret Ending

The secret (true) ending is a post-game quest that starts after the credits. It unlocks the “You’ve Found Him!” achievement — the game’s 49th. Spoiler-free steps below; the story payoff stays hidden.

How to Start

1. Finish the main story (Day 3, The Departure) and watch the credits.
2. Press Continue. In the carriage you receive a letter from Kate about her missing brother.
3. The clue reads: “The crow awakens at five past four” — that is 4:05.

The Seven-Step Chain

1. Day 1 — Waking Up Aldous: set the alarm clock to 4:05 (small hand on IV, large hand on I). A hidden letter falls out.
2. Day 2 — Helping with Bathing: on the illustrated tile wall, click the tiles in this order instead of the normal solution:

   Alexandra → Bathtub → Suitcase → Hand

4. A note with a maze appears. Trace the path from the centre to the exit to get a direction sequence:

   Right, Right, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Right, Left  (RRRLRLRRL)

6. Day 3 — Assisting in Alchemy: on the box with left/right buttons, enter the maze sequence above. A new letter appears with drawings pointing to the attic.
7. Day 1 — Searching the Attic: re-solve the constellation box with the new patterns from the letter (castle = three lines from one point, moon = a straight line, water = a triangle). The letter mentions ruins and shows a symbol matching the wine box.
8. Day 3 — Dressing up for Dinner (cellar): at the wine box, ignore the normal solution and rotate the parts to match the symbol from the attic letter. Place the bottles: bronze on the spiral, silver on the S (snake), gold on the triangle-with-line. A barrel opens revealing a secret room.
9. The secret room: shake the red cloth until a note falls out with clues for a four-digit code assembled from earlier puzzles:

11. Enter 6294 to get the Telescope.
12. Finale: take the telescope to the window near the dining room, look at the distant ruins and move the view upward until a light appears in a top window. Click it.

What You Get
