Servant of the Lake Gold Box in Attic

The golden box puzzle appears on Day 1 during Searching the Attic (the night slot). You need five small statues and the correct habitat slots to open it.

Where to Find the Five Statues

• Fish statue — reward from the attic sorting-box puzzle (sort fingers, leaves/twigs, rocks and bones/flesh into the right compartments).
• Monkey statue — on the left side of the attic, visible after you put a candle in the hanging lantern and light it.
• Butterfly statue — inside the red purse near the wardrobe; open it with the small key from the figurine poem puzzle.
• Bird statue — in the nightstand drawer beneath the golden box (comes with a ladder rung).
• Goat (ibex) statue — elsewhere in the attic area.

The Solution: Think of Home

Match each statue to its habitat symbol on the golden box, left to right:

Butterfly → Flower
Bird     → Cloud
Monkey   → Tree
Fish     → Water
Goat     → Mountains

Left-to-right order: Butterfly, Bird, Monkey, Fish, Goat

Reward

The box opens to reveal the Special Scroll and another ladder rung. Add both rungs to the ladder, climb up and open the hatch to finish Day 1 and earn the Searching the Attic achievement.

Not the Same Puzzle: the Constellation Box

The attic also contains a separate constellation box puzzle (match the note’s symbols into three families — building, water, moon — and draw the constellations to get the cellar wine-bottle note).
